Commenting to the Warrington Guardian following publication of the Government's 50-page COVID-19 recovery strategy document, Liberal Democrat Group Leader on Warrington Borough Council, Cllr Bob Barr said:

The NHS is collapsing in front of our eyes whilst the Prime Minister and Health Secretary are nowhere to be seen.
"The New Year is an opportunity to turn the page and look ahead. And although things are tough for millions, I sense change is possible - so I look to the New Year with hope and optimism."
